A fun and instructive summer with OK Foundation and OTP Bank

Summer camps, an essential element of every child's summer agenda, are back in force with the OK Financial Education Foundation. This year the Foundation expands its OK Summer Camp programme to the children of OTP Bank employees and clients, while the bank's central office hosts an event for participants.

A group of 18 children visited the OTP Bank headquarters on June 13, the penultimate day of the Camp organized in Chisinau. The visit was facilitated by OK Foundation trainers Victoria Iordachi and Valentin Creciun, who guided the children on a banking journey where they received advice on currency exchange, transfers and learned how the bank responds to customer needs.

Elena Guzun, Vice President of the Executive Committee, Commercial Banking Director welcomed the visitors to a question and answer session: "I am very happy about the children's interest in financial matters. Together we discussed how to set goals, how to ensure an investment income. They showed great interest in banking careers. Curious, creative young people who are involved in the arts and sports - are exactly the colleagues one wants."

Sofia, 10 years old, shared her impressions: "I learned that to become a Director you have to be open to new things and learn continuously. I think it would be really cool to be a Commercial Director, and Mrs. Guzun encouraged us to believe in our goals."

"I was curious to find out how OTP Bank differs from other banks in the country. It surprised me how internationalized the bank is, how many big clients it has and how many career opportunities it provides. There are a lot of paths for personal and professional development, noted Artiom, 12.

The edition of the OK Summer Camp organized in Chisinau ends on June 14, but the fun continues in the cities of Balti, Rezina and Cahul. New skills, games and surprise trips await the young participants.
