This year we have a double reason for celebration: 10 years of Chisinau Marathon and a decade since the heart of OTP Bank beats to the rhythm of this unique event.

Since the first edition, our colleagues have been among those who dared to test their limits. We cultivated our dedication to sports and became passionate fans, supporting the project as official partners since 2017.

We promoted the importance of a healthy lifestyle, encouraging passion for sports in others through financial support while the marathon continued to grow from 10,000 runners to over 18,000 in 2018.

Alongside the event’s impressive evolution, the bank's team of runners also grew. This year we set our own record: 120 colleagues will line up at the starting line on September 29.

We supported Chisinau Marathon in its moments of glory, such as the record set in 2018 by Benjamin Kiprop Serem, but also in the challenging times when the pandemic imposed an online edition in 2020. The resilience shown by runners and organizers inspired us to continue investing in this community.
