Protect yourself from fraud

Every day, millions of people around the world use remittance services to send money to their loved ones. However, every time you send the money to someone you do not know personally or reveal the details of the remittance to someone, you run the risk of being the victim of fraud.

We recommend that you consider the following to protect yourself from fraud:

  • Never send money to a stranger through a money remittance service
  • Do not disclose the details of a third party referral
  • Pay close attention to business or opportunities that seem too advantageous to be true
  • Do not use the money remittance service to pay, for example, for purchases at online auctions
  • Do not send money to pay taxes or fees for potential winnings in international lotteries.

Important! Don't let an unknown person teach you how remittance services work. Accept advice from a bank operator olny. If you suspect that you may be the victim of a fraud, immediately ask the operator to cancel the transfer.
